Sharon Malec
I live in the land of the Chinook wind. Born in Vulcan to Calvin and Norma Snow, I have lived in southern Alberta all my life. I have been married to Roy for 38 years but who is counting. Our two daughters Melissa and Erin, son in law Alan and grandogs,Moka and Cami are the joy of my life. Christmas is coming and I am really looking forward to it.
I serve my parish as the Music Liturgist and am an active member of St. Martha’s CWL council.
My day job is one of my callings. I am a teacher and proud to be one. I teach at Catholic Central High School in Lethbridge. As a young woman of 14, I was going to be a Home Economics teacher. Finally I am there. I teach Foods to high school students. It is fun to have a laugh with them when something doesn’t work.
I serve the Alberta Teachers’ Association as President of the Religious and Moral Education Specialist Council. I have taught religion to elementary and junior high students.
I am so blessed to be able to serve my sisters in the league as your Education and Health Chairman.
